Oran – Sète: Algeria Ferries Announces Postponement of the Crossing on This Date

After announcing changes to the schedules of several crossings to and from Italy, Spain, and France, Algérie Ferries has issued a new statement to announce the postponement of another crossing.

In a statement published on its official website, the national maritime carrier announced the postponement of the crossing scheduled for August 16, 2024, departing from the port of Sète to Oran. This journey will now take place on August 17, 2024, at 12:00 PM aboard the vessel El Djazair II.

In this context, the maritime company has informed that the check-in process will begin at 5:00 AM and continue until 10:00 AM. Additionally, Algérie Ferries made another announcement regarding the crossing from the port of Oran to Sète.

Specifically, the carrier has informed passengers holding tickets for the crossing on Thursday, August 15, 2024, that check-in will start at 5:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM. The vessel El Djazair II will depart from Oran at 11:30 PM.

Algérie Ferries Launches Watani Offer

Good news for the company’s passengers: it has finally launched its Watani offer, designed for members of the diaspora living abroad. This promotion was initiated in response to the President’s instructions in favor of diaspora members.

As a reminder, this promotion allows for savings of up to 60% on the price of travel tickets. It is applicable for crossings scheduled between August 10 and August 23, 2024. Algérie Ferries announced the launch of this offer at the beginning of the summer season, but it only took effect starting August 10.
