Corsica Linea: Schedule Changes for Marseille-Béjaïa 2023

Following Algeria Ferries’ announcement of the cancellation of its Oran – Sète crossings, the French maritime companyCorsica Lineahas now announced changes to its sailing schedule between France and Algeria.

These changes are due to unfavorable weather conditions affecting navigation, as stated in its press release published on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Marseille – Béjaia Crossings: Corsica Linea Announces Changes

Indeed, in its announcement on its official page, the Corsican shipping company stated that due to poor weather conditions, two of its crossings will experience changes in their schedules and will be delayed as follows:

  • The Marseille – Béjaia crossing scheduled for November 23 at 12 PM will now operate at 5 PM, with an expected arrival at the destination on Friday at 1 PM;
  • The return journey from Béjaia to Marseille, originally planned for November 24, 2023, will now depart at 2 PM instead of 10 AM, with an expected arrival the following day, Saturday, at 4 PM.

Additionally, Corsica Linea has announced that affected travelers will receive SMS notifications regarding these changes.

Algeria Ferries Cancels Oran – Sète Crossings

On its part, Algeria Ferries previously announced the cancellation of its scheduled crossings between the port of Oran and Sète in Spain. The national shipping company made this decision due to a low number of bookings.

Travelers affected by these cancellations will be redirected to the Oran – Alicante – Oran crossings, scheduled for November 26 and 27, 2023, at 7 PM. Furthermore, Algeria Ferries travelers will have the option to travel directly to France, particularly via the Oran – Marseille and Algiers – Marseille crossings, which will be scheduled for the coming days.
