Algeria Ferries: Changes to the Alger-Marseille Crossings

Due to unfavorable weather conditions for navigation, the national shipping company previously announced the postponement of one of its crossings. Furthermore, its new schedule appears to be disrupted once again.

Indeed, Algérie Ferries has issued a new statement announcing further changes to its crossing schedule between France and Algeria.

Algiers – Marseille Trips: Schedule Changes at Algérie Ferries

In a statement published on its official website, Algérie Ferries announced that, due to weather conditions and to ensure the safety of its passengers and staff, its crossing schedule from the port of Algiers to Marseille has been modified as follows:

  • The Marseille – Algiers crossing originally scheduled for November 4 has been postponed to November 6, 2023;
  • The Algiers – Marseille trip on November 5 has been replaced by the trip on November 7, 2023.

Additionally, on its website, the national shipping company has announced the scheduling of two other crossings. Notably, one departing from Marseille to Algiers on November 8, and the return journey from Algiers to Marseille on November 9, 2023.

Following these sudden changes, the national passenger shipping carrier has announced that its schedule will return to normal starting November 11, 2023.

Baléaria Launches Promotions for Crossings to Algeria

In a different vein and in response to the demand fromits travelers, the Spanish shipping company Baléaria has announced promotions for its Valencia – Mostaganem routes. Indeed, many travelers have voiced their concerns over rising prices for sea travel.

This is not the case with the Spanish shipping company. Baléaria offers round-trip tickets for €325 for a passenger in a cabin with a car on board. Moreover, for two passengers traveling together, this price decreases to €290 per person per trip.
