As part of the “Technical Reception Committee” organized by the Bureau of Tunisians Abroad today, Friday, March 29, 2024, Mr. Omar Al Masoudi, Central Director of Passenger Transport at theTunisian Navigation Company, announced the scheduling of 148 maritime crossings operated by the vessels Tanit and Carthage for the peak period from June 15 to September 15, 2024.

This initiative aims to ensure a comfortable return for Tunisians living abroad, with services distributed across the Marseille line: 76 crossings, and the Genoa line: 72 crossings, including 9 crossings on the Jerjis line.

Mr. Al Masoudi also mentioned that reservations have been open since December 19, 2023, reaching over 120,000 passengers and nearly 37,000 vehicles today, reflecting a total increase of approximately 20% compared to the summer of 2023.

He confirmed that the company has maintained the same rates for early bookings while offering significant discounts across three categories, ranging from 32% to 52% off the official fare, subject to certain conditions, with the option to pay 15% of the ticket price at the time of booking and the remainder 45 days before the departure date.
