GNV Transforms Maritime Hospitality in Maghreb with Cabin Plus+

GNV Reinvents Maritime Hospitality in Maghreb with Cabin Plus+

The ferry company GNV, a member of the MSC group, recently presented its major innovations for 2026 at the TTG fair in Rimini. These announcements represent a significant change in the approach to hospitality on board. GNV is launching two integrated projects, Cabin Plus+ and GNV Experiences, which aim to offer a personalized and emotional customer experience during crossings.

Cabin Plus+: The Cabin at the Heart of the Journey

At the heart of this transformation is the Cabin Plus+ project. GNV plans to convert over 1,900 cabins from its fleet into experiential spaces. This new standard will be available for bookings from October 13, 2025, and will be fully operational for journeys from June 1, 2026.

Within this framework, GNV introduces Premium and Deluxe accommodation categories. The cabins have been completely redesigned in terms of design and furnishings, ensuring a comfortable and personalized stay.

The new cabins will offer a range of exclusive services, responding to the expectations of passengers seeking quality:

  • Late departure: Allowing for smooth management of boarding and disembarking times.
  • myGNV points multiplier: To reward passenger loyalty.
  • Courtesy kit and welcome kit.
  • Premium sleep experience: High-quality equipment for restorative nights’ sleep.
  • TV in the cabin: Service reserved for Suites.

Matteo Della Valle, Chief Commercial Officer of GNV, highlighted this strategy by stating: ‘We bet on hospitality as a distinctive factor. We want the cabin to no longer be just a sleeping place, but the place where the journey begins, where we live and remember it, reflecting GNV’s attention, quality, and identity.’

GNV Experiences: Personalize Your Crossing

In addition to the cabin offer, the GNV Experiences project allows you to personalize your journey with two new options available from booking. These services will also be offered from October 13 for journeys made after June 1, 2026.

The Sea-Fi service now offers Wi-Fi packages (Silver, Gold, Platinum) online, allowing passengers to benefit from more advantageous rates than those practiced on board, while ensuring a connection for up to two devices.

Finally, the VIP Experience offer, ultra-exclusive, is limited to two tickets per journey. It includes a valet service, personalized welcome, meeting with the captain, VIP table at the restaurant, priority access to bars, free Wi-Fi, and early disembarkation.

With these innovations, GNV places passengers firmly at the heart of their experience, transforming each crossing into a true destination.
