Algeria Ferries: Changes to Sailings to Sète

Last September, the national maritime company, Algeria Ferries, unveiled its new travel schedule to France, Spain, and Italy. This timetable includes several routes among the new ones opened by the passenger shipping carrier. However, very quickly, the national maritime company changed this program by canceling some sailings and postponing others. In a new announcement, it has shared further changes. Algeria Ferries Cancels Sailings from Oran to Sète: Algeria Ferries announced the cancellation of its Oran – Sète – Oran crossings scheduled for November 26 and 27, 2023, due to the number of bookings not exceeding 10% of total seats. Consequently, affected passengers will be redirected to the following crossings: Oran – Alicante, which will be operated by the ferry Tassili II on November 26, 2023, at 19:00; the return trip Alicante – Oran is scheduled for November 27 at 19:00. Moreover, travelers wishing to reach France directly, without passing through Spain, can board Algeria Ferries vessels that operate the Oran – Marseille – Oran and Algiers – Marseille – Algiers routes. Additionally, the national maritime company invites travelers interested in this second offer to contact one of its agencies for assistance with the costs of these changes.
