The major maintenance of the tugboat Ben Neaman, managed by the port of Zarzis, has been completed.
The tugboat Ben Neaman is resuming its operations at the port of Zarzis following the completion of significant technical stop and maintenance work in the dry dock in Sfax.
A heartfelt thank you to the general management, all supervisors, and the staff who oversaw the work from the port management and the floating units management.
The maintenance program, implemented between 2022 and 2023, has restored the operational availability of the maritime tugboats to perform their functions optimally, while also initiating the construction of new tugboats.
The maintenance and strengthening of the fleet also include the pilot boats, with the signing of a contract for the acquisition of two new boats, as well as the announcement of a tender for the renovation of the engines of six boats that have remained unused for several years.
