Speaking on Algerian Radio Channel 1, Nadia Rabia, the General Director of the GATMA group, discussed the figures recorded during this summer season and the challenges faced by the national shipping company, which has experienced significant disruptions.

As a reminder, to ensure the transport of all its passengers this summer, the ENT MV planned 340 crossings to France, Italy, and Spain, allowing over 510,000 travelers to spend the summer in Algeria.

However, things did not go as planned. The Moby Dada, which had a tumultuous start in Algeria, hindered the company’s ambitious plans, which were further disrupted by repeated breakdowns.

Furthermore, since June, the national shipping company has only completed 173 trips, transporting a total of 146,000 passengers and 43,000 vehicles.
