
GNV inaugurates its second office in Morocco
- GNV opens its new office to the public in Nador, located in a historically significant building strategically positioned at the entrance of the port.
- The two-story building now features a modern and functional interior of 500 square meters and an exterior of over 1000 square meters.

GNV, the ferry company of the MSC Group, officiallyinaugurated its new office in Nador on JULY 22in the presence of several representatives from local institutions and authorities, welcomed by the Company’s partner in Morocco,Mohammed Kabbaj, and the management team that traveled from Genoa for this occasion.
Following the opening of an establishment in Tangier last year (a commercial and administrative office), GNV officially opens its second headquarters in Morocco to the public. This new two-story structure is the result of extensive renovation and redevelopment of a historic building, allowing the Company to welcome its passengers and clients in a more modern and functional environment while ensuring maximum comfort for themore than 20 employeesworking at the headquarters, which is strategically located at the entrance of the port.

In addition to the ticketing area, which includes eight counters for direct ticket sales, the new premises also house offices for managing port operations, staffed by commercial, administrative, and legal professionals. The new facilities cover an interior area of approximately 500 square meters and include, among other features, a contact center, a meeting room, and a prayer room. Outside, a terrace and a large green space (over 1000 m2) enhance the overall functionality of the structure.

The Company, which aims to solidify its role as a strategic and reliable partner in Morocco, has employedabout fifty people over the past 18 monthsand intends to continue its investments in the region to facilitate the return of Moroccans living abroad for their summer vacations.
TheCompany’s partner in Morocco, Mohammed Kabbaj, also commented on Nador:“Our investment in the new office in Morocco is part of a broader context of economic and social development in the Nador region. Thanks to the excellent redevelopment work carried out by local administrations, particularly in recent years, the city, the port, and the surrounding areas now have a greater capacity than in the past to attract interest and new capital, both from a tourism and employment perspective.”
Inaugurated in July 2022, GNV’s seasonal Almeria-Nador route resumed operations on June 27 with a frequency of five departures per week from the port of the Andalusian city (the second busiest in Spain in terms of passenger traffic during the Marhaba operation) on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until September 15.
Carole Montarsolo, GNV’s commercial manager for the Morocco destination, added regarding the features of the new site in Nador:“The modern and spacious interior and especially exterior spaces, with a façade decorated in Moroccan style, white wrought iron, a beautiful terrace, and botanical gardens reminiscent of those at Majorelle, will allow our passengers and clients to spend their time, even during the waiting period after check-in and before boarding, in a pleasant, relaxing environment that respects Moroccan culture.”
