GNV celebrates the 5th edition of its Awards in Naples
The fifth edition of theGNVAwards took place on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Naples. This annual event organized by the MSC Group’s ferry company, which operates a fleet of 25 ships across 31 routes in 7 countries, connecting and departing from Sardinia, Sicily, Spain, France, Albania, Tunisia, Morocco, and Malta, aims to strengthen its ties with business partners, celebrate its commitment to the trade sector, and recognize the best travel agencies.
The 2024 edition of theGNVAwards, the fifth of its kind, was held aboard the ship « La Suprema, » which services Tunisia and was docked in the port of Naples for the occasion. The event welcomed over 300 representatives from Italian and international travel agencies, along with numerous specialized journalists. The two-day program featured, as usual, the presentation of GNV Awards to 200 business partners and the designation of « Elite Partners, » the top travel agencies selected as part of the program launched in 2017. This program ensures that Top Adv agencies benefit from specific advantages and dedicated initiatives to enhance their understanding of GNV services and products, guarantee maximum visibility and outreach, and provide clients with an even more comprehensive service. GNV named 5 new « Elite Partners » among Italian and foreign travel agencies.

« This is indeed an important signal that confirms the strength of the investments made so far, » stated Matteo Della Valle, Chief Passengers Commercial Officer of GNV. Among the medium-term objectives are the continuation and strengthening of the growth achieved in recent years, which will see a new boost with the arrival of four new ferries by 2026: the « GNV Polaris » expected before the end of 2024, the « GNV Orion » in 2025, the « GNV Virgo, » and the fourth unit in 2026. The newly constructed ships will meet the highest standards in terms of efficiency and environmental impact. They will all be equipped for cold ironing, and two of them will be powered by dual fuel, LNG.

We are also focusing our investments on the renovation of ships already in operation, including the recent refurbishment of the Excelsior, which involved the redesign and modernization of certain spaces and services on board. This is just the beginning of a project that will see the gradual involvement of other units in the fleet.
