On February 4, 2025, Mr. Merouane Kheireddine, General Director of Nours El Bahr Ferries, attended the meeting of the Transport and Communications Committee. This meeting, chaired by Mr. Boucheuit Mohamed Anouar, aimed to assess the current state of the maritime and land transport sector. The vesselCracovia, with a capacity of650 passengers,500 cars, or150 trucks, ensures safe crossings. It complies with all requirements set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and is equipped with the latest maritime safety technologies.

Mr. Kheireddine announced that Nours El Bahr Ferries will strengthen its fleet with a second vessel. This expansion will allow for the opening of new routes and destinations, both in Algerian ports and on the northern shore of the Mediterranean. This move responds to the growing demand from Algerians, both domestically and abroad.

Review of the Cracovia’s Voyages

Since January 11, 2024, the Cracovia has completed 30 voyages between Algiers and Marseille, as well as 23 voyages between Algiers and Alicante.
