
ANP: Projected Traffic of Nearly 89.2 Million Tons in 2024
TheNational Ports Agency (ANP)anticipates that the overall traffic at its ports will reach approximately89.2 million tons (MT)in 2024, representing a 1% increase compared to 2023. These projections are detailed in the report on public institutions and enterprises (EEP) that accompanies the draft finance law (PLF) for the upcoming year.

During the first six months of 2024, the total volume of traffic handled reached48 MT, marking a growth of17.3%compared to the previous year. Revenue for this period also increased by17.1%, nearing1.37 billion dirhams (MMDH), with consolidated growth of16.5%to1.47 MMDH.

The ANP’s investment program is expected to be executed at978 MDH, representing a completion rate of74%of the budget forecasts. However, investments made by the ANP as of the end of June have decreased by18%, totaling176 MDH(and down20%to195 MDHon a consolidated basis).
