WSC and NCB: Partnership for Maritime Freight Security in Morocco
The World Shipping Council (WSC) has selected the National Cargo Bureau (NCB) for its regular line cargo safety program, addressing the need to enhance safety measures within the maritime industry.
NCB, a nonprofit organization recognized for its leadership in providing safety services to the maritime sector, has been chosen as the independent provider for the program’s digital platform. Their well-established software, Hazcheck, is widely utilized to ensure the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous materials.
The WSC Cargo Safety Program will be built on this platform, highlighting the Hazcheck Detect tool, which currently manages a substantial volume of monthly bookings. The focus will be on standardization and a unified approach to the control and inspection of goods, with continuous feedback on outcomes to ensure consistency and comprehensiveness in safety procedures.
