Strengthening Cooperation Between Morocco and Libya in the Field of Transport



At the beginning of this meeting, both parties acknowledged the strong bonds of fraternity and cooperation that link their two countries and emphasized their shared commitment to enhancing collaboration in the field of transportation.

On this occasion, the Libyan official expressed his country’s desire to reopen air connectivity between the two nations to encourage and strengthen economic exchanges between Morocco and Libya, and to contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation in various sectors.

The Libyan Minister added that his country is ready to engage in any initiative aimed at establishing a maritime route between the two nations to facilitate exchanges between Morocco and Libya.

For his part, Mr. KAYOUH affirmed the Ministry of Transport and Logistics’ readiness to develop bilateral cooperation in the transportation sector between the two countries.

To this end, both parties agreed to intensify meetings of the bilateral technical committees to explore ways to enhance cooperation and to increase the exchange of experiences and expertise in transportation.
