The total traffic in Moroccan ports has seen a remarkable increase until September 2023, reaching 155.2 million tons, compared to 151 million tons the previous year, marking a rise of 2.8%. During this period, national traffic (excluding transit) totaled approximately 81.7 million tons, reflecting a decrease of 3%, while transit activity generated traffic of 73.5 million tons, showing an increase of 10.1% compared to the end of September 2022.

Furthermore, transshipment traffic accounts for 3.7%, with a volume of 5.8 million tons (an increase of 2%).
